Support > Error MessagesThere are three types of errors in StarCaster :- General usage errors (including network errors)
- Run-time errors
- Execution errors
- General usage errors
- General usage errors are normal (e.g., trying to enter an order without having specified an account; or trying to add an account without entering a name for the account).

- Run-time errors include such items as:
- Disk drive not ready
- Device fault
- Disk read error
If a program abends (abnormally ends) from a run-time error, StarCaster traps it and displays a run-time error window. After pressing any key to continue, you'll be returned to the Main Menu.

- An Execution error occurs if some part of the program fails an intentional validation check, and it can't recover on its own. Execution errors are rare. If you do get an Exec error, you should call support as soon as you can.
